Mom: Laura! Time for Breakfast!
Laura: Coming mom!
(Laura rummaging through her closet)
Laura: Ohhh... where are they? I know I left them here last night.
Hamtaro: Heke?
(Laura grabbed a pair of silk red hair ribbons from the closet)
Laura: Aha! Found them.
Mom: Laura! Breakfast is getting cold
(Fastens her ribbons to her hair)
Laura: Coming!
(Thinking)
Hamtaro: Why is Laura in such a hurry?
Laura: I've got to hurry or I'll be late...(heading for the door)
Bye Hamtaro be good (leaves and closes the door)
(Hamtaro stunned)
Hamtaro: Bye Laura, gosh she left so fast she must be really busy today Well I'll be pretty busy myself.
(Hamtaro runs by the desk to the hole he made to the roof)
Hamtaro: Bada Bada bada.
(Hamtaro jumps in the drainpipe and slides down)
Hamtaro: Yahoo!
(Pops out like s shot and lands gracefully on brandy's head)
Hamtaro: Opah!
(Flips off brandy's head)
Hamtaro: Have a nice sleep Brandy I'll see ya later
(Races off)
(Brandy yawns leisurely)
(Heads for the tunnels and off to the clubhouse)
Meanwhile Laura and her family were sitting down to breakfast.
(Laura eating rapidly)
Forest: Pumpkin don't eat so fast you might get the hiccups
Laura: Sorry Dad but I'm in a hurry (talking with her mouth full)
There's this book that I've waiting to come out plus I'm meeting Kana and Hillary for lunch and I way overslept
Mom: Well you father's right try to eat slower ok?
Laura: All right (eats her food slower)
(After breakfast Laura heads out to the bookstore in town)
Laura: Bye mom Bye dad! (Heads closes the door)
Mom: Bye honey
Forest: Be home before dinner!
Laura: I will!
(Hamtaro comes out of the tunnel and races to the tree)
Hamtaro: Bada Bada Bada...(suddenly notices someone ahead of him)
Hamtaro: Look Out!
T.W: Huh? Aiee! (Crashed)
(T.W wobbly gets up)
T.W: Oh what hit me?
(Hamtaro comes to and gets up)
Hamtaro: Sorry about that I didn't see you are you ok?
T.W: I'm all right but you should watch were your going.
Hamtaro: Your right sorry.
T.W: Really it's ok I wasn't paying attention either so it's both our faults.
Hamtaro: I've never seen you around here before where ya from?
T.W: I came on a boat from America
Hamtaro (Thinking): America what's that.
T.W: I'm sort of an adventurer I've been traveling for a long time seeing the world and making new friends and since were
friends now Im sure we'll lots of fun adventures.
Hamtaro: You bet lots of intrusting things happen around here.
T.W: Anyway I was wondering where were you going so fast?
Hamtaro: Oh, I'm meeting my friends we have a clubhouse underground where hamsters from all over town come to hang out
It's really a lot of fun
T.W: That does sound fun you I could come?
Hamtaro: Why not the more the merrier but I haven't even told my name yet how silly I'm Hamtaro.
T.W: I'm T.W it's too nice to have met you Hamtaro when youre not in a hurry.
(Both start Laughing)
Hamtaro: Well now that we know each others names do you wants to come and meet my friends?
(T.W blushes)
T.W: Oh um kushi kushi I don't know I have hard time making friends. I just get this nervous feeling all over.
Hamtaro: You made friends with me
(T.W looks confidently in Hamtaro's eyes)
T.W: Your right but I've always felt shy around groups
Hamtaro: Don't be shy I'm sure they'll like you.
T.W: Alright meet me in the meadow I've just thought of a great idea
Hamtaro: Great you go and I'll get the others
T.W: Ok meet you there
Hamtaro: Alright see ya soon
T.W: Hamtaro!
(Hamtaro stops mid pace)
Hamtaro: Yeah?
T.W: Thanks.
Hamtaro: No problem (and races off)
(Laura just made to the bookstore before they were sold out on her way out when she bumped into Travis)
Travis: Hey Laura
(Laura Blushes subtlety)
Laura: Oh Hey Travis
Matt: Travis you coming?
Travis: Be right There se ya Laura
Laura: Bye
Laura: What is it this that guy has over me?
(Door opens then closes)
Hamtaro: Morning everyone you'll never guess what happened
Oxnard: Did ya get extra alfalfa sprouts today?
Hamtaro: Even better I made a new friend today. His name is T.W and he used to be a world traveler.
Pashmina: He sounds interesting if not a little mysterious.
Cappy: Did you get a good look at his hat?
Hamtaro: He came on a boat from America wherever that is.
Maxwell: America is a country across the sea, a federal republic of 50 states also known, as the city was the streets are
paved with gold.
Panda: So where he now?
Hamtaro: In a meadow not far from here he said he setting up a big surprise.
Cappy: I Love Surprises!
Bijou: Oh a new friends Ce Magnfique.
Oxnard: I wonder if he's got snacks
Howdy: ya know I think I've seen this guy before a few days ago I was in the acorn field having lunch and saw something
scamper by it must have been him I called out but he didn't awnser.
Panda: Did you get a good look of him?
Howdy: Nope he was moving too fast.
Boss: Well he sounds a bit rude if you ask me, I mean why didn't he want to come here seems rude I think.
Hamtaro: No! Hes not rude at all he's just a little shy
Bijou: I agree with Hamtaro I know I was a little shy and nervous about coming here the first time and I think T.W is the
same way.
Bosai...uh
Pashmina: I say we at least give T.W a chance it's been awhile since we've had a new face around here
(Penelope nods in agreement)
Penelope: Ukyu!
Maxwell: I've been reading an instresting article about relationships and I think the only way to make a fair assumption
of T.W is to meet him in person
Dexter: I concur will never know unless we take a chance.
Hamtaro: Please Boss he's new and doesnt know anyone else.
(Boss rubbing his paw against his chin)
Snoozer: Friendship means taking a few risks. Take a chance on friends. Zu. Zu. Zu. Zuzu. Zu.
The hams gasp and ponder about Snoozer's sage, yet incomplete insight
Boss: Well. (All hams stare at Boss) All right.
(All hams cheer)
Hamtaro: Then what are we waiting for! It's time to meet the new ham on the block
(Laura met Kana and Hillary in the park were had their picnic lying on the grass bed under a aged shaded oak tree)
Kana: So did you here about the big art contest in the paper today the winner gets there artwork displayed at the museum.
Laura: Is that the same museum where we went on our field trip?
Kana: Yep there opening a wing for drawings paintings and artwork from around the world, and some works from some local
artists from the neighborhood.
Laura: Are you going to enter?
Kana: Your kidding I couldnt compete with these!
She showed a page of the contest article with pictures of some of the entries on it.
Kana: Sure some kids my age are entering but most have been to art and animation schools and even studied with some famous
artists.
Laura: Come on give yourself some credit your sketches are just as good those back me up will ya!
Hillary: Laura's right Kana we know you have talent but the important thing is that you know it.
Travis: That's right
The girls turned to see Travis coming towards them
Travis: I couldnt help overhearing your conversation and there right Kana. I've seen your sketches and there good you should
send some in.
Kana thought about what her friends had said and stood up
Kana: Thanks everyone I was being a little hard on myself it's just lately I haven't been able to draw a thing so I've
been wondering If I've lost my touch.
Laura: I know what you mean sometimes when I cook I get frustrated
With the recipe to the point was I stop cooking for awhile but still love to cook so maybe you just need a break.
Kana: I never thought about that thanks Laura I feel a lot better
Laura: No Problem
Kana: You know I think I'm over my dry spell I got to get home draw this idea down!
Kana races home happy she still loves to draw
Laura: Bye! See you tomorrow!
Hillary: Well now that I think of it I got to get home too
Laura: Oh Bye! Guess I'll go home too.
Travis: Want me to walk you?
Laura blushes tentatively
Laura: Sure
(Ham-Hams head for the meadow)
Hamtaro: T.W! I'm back and I brought everyone!
Boss: So where is he?
Hamtaro: Maybe he's hiding I'll sniff him out! hiff hiff hiff hiff hi...!
This way. You guys wait I'll get him. Ticky Ticky ticky
(Hamtaro walks through some tall grass and heads up to T.W)
Hamtaro: I'm back.
T.W: Oh hey Hamtaro did you bring your friends
Hamtaro: Yep there all waiting for you.
(T.W peeks through the tall grass and see the ham-hams waiting for him and begins to blush intensely)
T.W: I'm scared Hamtaro
What if they don't like me?
Hamtaro: You won't know for sure unless you meet them.
T.W: Ok let's do it ticky ticky ticky
(Hamtaro and T.W head over to the other ham-hams)
Bijou: Here they come get ready.
Hamtaro: Everyone this T.W
TW (nervously): H-Hello everyone it's nice to meet you.
(T.W Bows)
Oxnard: I'm Oxnard nice to meet you too T.W.
Sandy: Hey there T.W I'm Sandy
Bijou: Bonjour T.W I'm Bijou welcome to the neighborhood.
Pashmina: Hello I'm Pashmina and this is Penelope.
Penelope: Ukyu!
Howdy: I'm Howdy welcome to our humble carode
Dexter: That's Abode
Howdy: A-what?
(Dexter sighs frustativly)
Dexter: Forget it anyway I'm Dexter a pleasure to meet you.
Boss: And I'm Boss Field Hamster extrodinare nice to meet ya.
(Puts out paw)
T.W: Uh... likewise
(Shakes Boss's paw)
T.W (Thinking): Hmm. What an odd name.
Hamtaro: Well welcome to the club T.W.
(All hams applaud)
T.W: Thanks everyone and thank you Hamtaro you gave me the courage to be here today.... (Hamtaro blushes proudly) Aww it
was nothing.
T.W: Now that that's said let's party I made Chestnut dumplings candied sunflower seeds for everyone!
(All hams cheer and dig in)
(Oxnard can hardly contain his appetite)
Oxnard: Wow now that's good eating
T.W: Glad you like it I spent all afternoon preparing this feast for us to enjoy.
Bijou: You shouldn't have gone to all this trouble just for us.
T.W: No trouble at all I was happy to and it was the least I could do after Hamtaro had the courtesy to bring you here
to get aquatinted.
(Maxwell quietly enjoys the feast)
Maxwell: I never met a ham so handy in the kitchen
T.W: Believe me I'm still learning but none the less I love to cook
(Boss pigs out happily)
Boss: I told you guys we should come here the whole time
All thinking: Oh Boss (all laugh and then resume eating and conversing)
After the feast Hamtaro and friends showed T.W around the clubhouse
T.W: Wow! This place is great!
Hamtaro: Yep we like to think so.
(Then they show him the fun park)
T.W: Wow you have a fun park too! Boy am I glad met you!
Hamtaro: Come on let's play!
(All hams cheer)
(Everyone goes on the roller coaster)
Everyone: Yea!
Soon much time passed and soon it was time for T.W to go.
T.W: Thanks everyone this one the best days I've ever had!
Hamtaro: Youre welcome here anytime.
T.W: Thanks
T.W: Well it's best I'd be off now.
Hamtaro: Your leaving here already
T.W: I thought about it and I decided to put up my roots and stay here
Hamtaro: That's great but were will you stay?
T.W: Well I don't know yet but I can rough it.
Boss: You could stay at my place tonight.
T.W: Thanks for the offer but I'll be all right my knapsack will get me trough the night.
And with that T.W heads off.
T.W: Bye!
Everyone: Goodbye!
Soon after that Hamtaro headed for home a split second before Laura.
Laura begins writing in her journal and reflects upon her day
Laura: Today was full of twists and turns I missed out on that new book and Kana was really bummed out.
(Thinking)
Hamtaro: My new friend T.W was the same way til he my friends who are now his friends too
(Thinking)
Laura: I was glad my advice could help Kana but now I wish someone could give some pointers cooking.
(Thinking)
Hamtaro: My new friend T.W could help you I can still taste those chestnut dumplings.
Laura: Well today was great but I just know tomorrow has something fun in store don't you think so Hamtaro?
Hamtaro: Heke!
Laura: Night Hamtaro
(Thinking)
Hamtaro: Night Laura and you T.W wherever you are.
T.W walks bye Hamtaro's house
T.W: Where will I live?
